Director of Customer Success

Terrayn, a high-growth marketing technology company based in Denver, CO, is looking for a motivated leader for our customer success team.

As a Director of Customer Success, you will play a critical role in ensuring on-time and on-scope high-quality value delivery of our marketing services for dispensary businesses. With your hands-on experience and knowledge, you will manage complex projects to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our account management and fulfillment organization. You will also help deliver measurable results to build an industry-leading client success team in our company.

This multidimensional role emphasizes problem-solving skills, balancing day-to-day tasks with long-term improvement, effective collaboration with people across company functions, key external stakeholders, and establishing credibility with customers.

Job responsibilities:

  • Ensure high-quality value delivery of our marketing services to guarantee customer retention and customer success
  • Manage ongoing customer relationship, cultivate C-level, key management, and operational relationships
  • Advise customers (C-Suite, Owners, Operators) through demonstrated competence and knowledge of customer-specific needs, helping them achieve their goals
  • Navigate and manage expectations and perceptions of success across all levels of customer’s organization
  • Drive business expansion through customer-centric problem solving
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, driving awareness of customer pain points and partnering cross-functionally to develop comprehensive solutions
  • Improve account management processes that deliver scalability and increased efficiency while improving quality delivered
  • Oversee and manage account management and fulfillment teams to build a successful customer-focused team
  • Monitor progress to goals & proactively identify areas of opportunity

Experience:

  • 10+ years of Account Management, Client Success Management or Customer Relationship Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in managerial or leadership position
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience preferred

  • Strong sense of duty and responsibility with a focus on customer success, high-value delivery, and the improvement of internal processes
  • Ability to build and improve high performing teams to support the company’s growth and uphold a high level of value delivery for our customers
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to determine and communicate solutions for the needs and wants of our customers
  • Ability to multitask and pivot with industry changes/trends and customer’s needs
  • Outside the box thinking and problem-solving skills to find creative and impactful solutions to solve customer’s pain points
  • Analytical and strategic thinker who can utilize a data-driven approach to make decisions for our customers
  • Team player who can work with all stakeholders across the company to ensure customer retention, product delivery, and long-term company success
  • Learner who continuously explores new technologies, trends, and processes to create a better customer experience and higher product success
